Peek-a-boo. I’ve been off Instagram for about a month and it has amazed me how different I feel. I prefer the old Insta when it was just photos and I never had enough data to view videos 😂- who remembers those days? Now with all the reels, stories, ads and TOO MUCH of everything really makes me feel fragmented and confused after being on here, even just for a few minutes. It’s the infinite… So going forward I’m just going to set some boundaries about what I feed my mind.

This was a painting collaboration with the super cool Lenny-Dee. It was a second-year art project in 2012 at Wits @newwork_witsfineart _ It was such a fun experience and this style informed the way I paint today, with layers and overlapping and all kinds of other aspects of my visual language. It was a really large two-panel painting and doesn’t exist anymore (they threw it away!) but the process was important. I wonder if Lenny-dee still paints today?
